Unsure which level fits you? Contact us — we’ll help you choose the perfect program. What riding level is required for going on a Trail ride?We offer two trail options to suit different levels of riders:
- Novice Trail — designed for riders with basic experience who are confident at walk and trot, and comfortable trying short canters if they wish. The pace is calm and steady, focusing on balance, relaxation, and enjoying the ride in nature.
- Intermediate+ Trail — for confident riders experienced at all paces (walk, trot, canter) and comfortable riding in open terrain and varied landscapes. These rides include longer stretches of trot and canter, with more elevation changes and a slightly more active rhythm.
Can I join on a trail if I’ve only ridden a few times?Unfortunately, our trails are not suitable for complete beginners.
We welcome riders who have already learned basic control (walk and trot) and are comfortable spending several hours in the saddle.
Do I need to be very fit to join?A good general level of physical fitness is recommended, but you don’t need to be an athlete.
Our horses are calm, responsive, and make the experience enjoyable for both relaxed and active riders.
Is there a weight or age limit? For the comfort and safety of our horses, the weight limit is
85kg (187 lbs). The minimum age for participation is
14 years, provided the rider has sufficient experience and is accompanied by an experienced parent.
How large are the groups? We keep our groups small and personal — usually
1–2 guests accompanied by
2 guides. This ensures a relaxed pace, individual attention, and safe riding conditions.
